Pastor Bob Evans has been an ordained teaching elder in both the OPC/PCA since 1980. He met his wife Debbie while on staff with CRU at the University of Georgia (please don’t hold that against them)! He graduated with an M.Div. degree from Trinity Seminary in 1979. It was a Trinity that he came to embrace the doctrines of grace. Bob has been the lead pastor in three churches, most recently for 20 years as the Senior Pastor of Wildwood PCA in Tallahassee. He stepped down from that role in 2016 and now serves Wildwood fulltime as the Pastor of Congregational Care and Men’s Discipleship.
Debbie is a 1974 graduate of UGA and served with Bob as a CRU staff member at the University of Georgia and the University of Florida. Debbie has been a fulltime mom, homeschooled 3 children for a few years and has served as a Christian school principal, a leader in pro-life organizations, and volunteer Women’s ministry mentor at Wildwood. She disciples and mentors both college students and women at Wildwood Church. The Evans has 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. All four parents are deceased and three of them died while in hospice care.
Bob and Debbie look forward to being with you on May 3 and 4!
